Back to school was never this much fun! – Part I

We were honored to partner with the Parma Area Family Collaborative to host a Back to School Safety Fair at MetroHealth’s Parma Medical Offices on Saturday, August 12. 

Just in time for school, we gave away 700 backpacks to Parma-area families. In addition, kids in attendance:

• Received school safety tips (and giveaways) from MetroHealth caregivers.

• Met Parma Police and Fire officials, including the city’s K-9 officer.

• Got free books – 1,600 of them! – from the Kids Book Bank.

• Enjoyed story times, crafts and a pop-up library, courtesy of the Cuyahoga County Library.

• Learned how to juggle from members of the St. Ignatius Circus Club.

• Watched in awe as Metro Life Flight landed and offered a look inside a helicopter.
