Coming soon: MetroHealth hospitals in Cleveland Heights and Parma

metrohealth-hospital-room

MetroHealth is bringing inpatient care to Cleveland Heights and Parma.

Beginning in January 2018, our Severance Circle and Snow Road locations will become new hospitals.

These new options will give patients more access to care closer to home, and will serve a variety of low-acuity conditions: COPD and shortness of breath, chronic bronchitis, heart failure, arrhythmia, chest pain, cellulitis, diabetes, renal failure, sickle cell/iron deficiency, digestive conditions, hernias, bowel or gal bladder surgery, thyroid conditions, gastroenteritis, esophagitis, broken bones, hip/knee replacements, ENT issues and pancreatitis. Other needs will be addressed as well, and each patient will be considered on an individual and case-by-case basis.

The new facilities are designed to allow patients and their families the option to receive care right in their own communities. However, in the event more specialized care becomes necessary, patients will be transferred to our main campus medical center.

Both new hospitals will feature private patient rooms designed with healing and comfort in mind. The look and feel of our new Critical Care Pavilion rooms will be carried over to rooms at both the Cleveland Heights and Parma hospitals.

We are excited to offer patients these new options for their care in early 2018. Parma will open January 3 and Cleveland Heights will follow on January 4.
