For a day, MetroHealth becomes “The Nutcracker” magic castle

MetroHealth’s main campus got a serving of sugar plum fairies, toy soldiers and holiday spirit on Monday, courtesy of the Cleveland Ballet.

Second- and third-graders from Walton Elementary School in our neighborhood joined MetroHealth staff and patients to watch the ballet perform excerpts from the seasonal favorite, “The Nutcracker.”

The two performances marked the ballet’s third straight year visiting us. We thank them for supporting our Arts in Medicine program and for bringing the healing art of dance to MetroHealth.
