Neighborhood revitalization continues with new dialysis facility

Late last month, the Ohio Renal Care Group gave the public a sneak peek inside its new dialysis center located a block north of our main campus on West 25 Street. The 9,800-square-foot center, called the Ohio Renal Care Group at Farnsworth, will be able to treat up to 150 kidney patients a week. It’s a joint venture involving MetroHealth, Cleveland Clinic and Fresenius Kidney Care. Visitors at the open house toured the facility including treatment rooms that offer Wi-Fi and heated massage chairs. They also met medical personnel and other staff who answered questions about in-center or at-home dialysis and ways the center helps patients conveniently fit kidney treatments into their lives.

The new facility, located at 3280 W. 25th St., is just the latest example of the residential and commercial rebirth we’re seeing - and leading - in our neighborhood.
