Employees collect donations for homeless

Thanks to the collective efforts of dozens of our employees, more than 2,200 items ranging from toiletries to tents were distributed to individuals who are homeless in our community. The collection drive was led by the Patient Access Department to support individuals served by Northeast Ohio Coalition for the Homeless agencies.

“NEOCH is the lifeline for the homeless in the community,” says Greg Summers, an Enrollment Specialist in the department. He regularly takes the Enrollment on Wheels RV out to get people signed up for Medicaid. He also shares information about our providers and services, and “whatever we can do to help them.”

Staff from many of our health centers and departments donated bottled water, tents, clothing, shoes, backpacks, blankets and personal hygiene items to help our neighbors in need.

Thank you to everyone who made this donation drive a success!
