Getting preschoolers ready for school with a SPARK

12-19-2017 SPARK

Do you have a 4-year-old at home who’s ready for preschool? Do you live in the 44127 ZIP code? Wondering how to help your child navigate the tricky transition to kindergarten? If you answered “yes” to those questions, Supporting Partnerships to Assure Ready Kids (SPARK) is here to help.

SPARK is a free, kindergarten-readiness program that helps soon-to-be students and their families get ready to start school. SPARK offers participants home visits, group-based learning, access to education supplies and free books. The program is presented in Cuyahoga County by Family Connections and Invest in Children.

Ready to learn more? Join us Friday, December 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at our Broadway Health Center (6835 Broadway Ave., Cleveland) for a free resource fair and gift giveaway. We’re teaming up with Toys for Tots and SPARK to put together a festive, educational event for interested families.

Spots are limited, so don’t miss out! Click here to learn more about how SPARK is helping families all over our community get ready to start school.
