Lumina Imaging Opens New Location in Westlake
Lumina has opened its latest consumer-centric medical imaging center in Westlake, making it easier than ever for Northeast Ohio residents to schedule and undergo CT, MRI and other important diagnostic scans.
The MetroHealth System launched Lumina in 2019 to offer consumers a more cost-effective option for important medical imaging and to empower employers with a new option to lower their medical plan expenses. Lumina offers hospital-quality MRI and CT scans with an exceptional patient experience at a cost 60-80% lower than hospital facilities.
And with the opening of its Westlake location – Lumina’s fourth site overall – most Northeast Ohio residents are now within a 20-minute drive of these innovative imaging centers. The new Westlake site is located at 30400 Detroit Road (Suite 101). Lumina also has locations in Solon, Medina and Mentor.
“Most people are unaware they have a choice on where to receive these important scans,” Lumina CEO Lisa Giganti said. “Lumina is here to change that perception. And employers may be unaware that partnering with Lumina can help ease the burden of rising health care costs. At Lumina, we are committed to making medical imaging less costly – and elevating the consumer experience – without sacrificing quality.”
Benefits of using Lumina include:
- Same and next-day appointments.
- Insurance pre-approval completely handled, so patients can avoid hassles and focus on their health.
- Results read/interpreted by fellowship-trained radiologists and shared with the patient’s health care provider within 24 hours, regardless of where the provider practices.
- Convenient neighborhood locations with free parking and mobile check-in so patients are in, out and back to their lives quickly.
