MetroHealth represents at the March For Our Lives

March1

In a sea of dark jackets at Cleveland's March For Our Lives event on Saturday, MetroHealth doctors' white coats were front and center.

Holding signs with the message "Keep Our Kids Safe," physicians, nurses and approximately 200 MetroHeatlh employees organized by Dr. James Misak attended the rally.

The march, spearheaded by students from Parkland, Florida’s Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, was a call for safe schools for every student, no matter what. The main march took place in Washington, D.C., and Cleveland hosted one of the more than 800 sister events.

As health care providers whose mission is to care for everyone in Cuyahoga County, it’s our duty to keep all kids healthy, and that includes keeping them safe from gun violence.
