MetroHealth to Host Job Fairs

Given the news of the upcoming service changes at St. Vincent Charity Medical Center, The MetroHealth System is eager to explore how our teams can mutually benefit from each other’s years of experience.

Anyone interested in working at MetroHealth is invited to join us at one of our upcoming hiring events – no registration required. The dates are:

  • Thursday, Sept. 15, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. – Jerry Sue Thornton Center, 2500 East 22 St., Ford Room
  • Friday, Sept. 16, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. – Tri C Metro Campus, 2480 East 30th St.
  • Monday, Sept. 19, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. – Jerry Sue Thornton Center, 2500 East 22 St., Ford Room

“I am saddened by St. Vincent’s decision to curtail its services. Its mission-focused health care has been an important part of Cleveland for more than 150 years, and I know this could not have been an easy decision for the Sisters of Charity Health System,” said MetroHealth President and CEO Akram Boutros, MD, FACHE. “Their continued commitment to the city’s disadvantaged, especially in the Central neighborhood, is inspiring, and I am pleased that they will continue to serve those struggling with addiction through the work of Rosary Hall.

“MetroHealth, as always, stands ready to provide exceptional health care to everyone in our community, regardless of their ability to pay,” Dr. Boutros said. “That is our mission.”
