The MetroHealth Line is rolling

A strong public transportation network is closely linked to a city’s overall health. The better people can access what a city has to offer, the more likely they are to take advantage of resources that improve their health. Cleveland’s no different.

We’re proud to partner with the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority to officially launch the MetroHealth Line.

Starting this week, the RTA’s 51 A, B and C family of routes become part of the MetroHealth Line. Twenty new, efficient buses will join 37 refinished shelters and more than 400 customized signs along the route. In addition to being the RTA’s second busiest route, the MetroHealth Line reaches five of our locationsacross Cuyahoga County.

At Thursday’s ribbon cutting at our main campus, local and state government officials joined representatives from the RTA and our leadership team to celebrate the launch. They pointed out that this is about much more than adding our logos and new buses. The MetroHealth Line is an investment in the future of our neighborhood and a reminder that we go everywhere in Cuyahoga County.

As MetroHealth transforms, we’re committed to bringing our neighborhood and community along for the ride. So climb on the bus!
